There is more to this account than merely a miraculous healing. God used this to illustrate something for us.

1) A Woman’s Desperation – Mark 5:25-26

She was desperate:

1. Physically
2. Financially
3. Spiritually

Disease separated her from God. Just like sin separates us from God.

2) A Woman’s Determination – Mark 5:27-28

• Isaiah 64:6

Three things keeping her from coming to Jesus:

1. People (press), what they thought
2. Disciples
3. Looks: she was pale, poor, pitiful

Despite this, she came as she was.

3) A Woman’s Deliverance – Mark 5:29-32

• Luke 6:19

How many people touched His garment? Just one recorded. But NOT the multitude. Many know of Him but few seek Him.
