The Road to Hope

There are many roads that are traveled in life that lead to detours and dead-ends, and oftentimes, even destruction. But, there is one that always leads to happiness, and ultimately, to heaven. It is THE ROAD TO HOPE.

THE ROAD TO HOPE is traveled through the book of Romans in the Bible. If you have never traveled this road before, we would like to invite you to do so now.

FIRST STOP: All have sinned. Romans 3:23 … For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

SECOND STOP: Penalty of sin. Romans 6:23 … For the wages of sin is death.

THIRD STOP: God’s love. Romans 5:8 … But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

FOURTH STOP: Repentance. Romans 10:9-12 … That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.

FIFTH STOP: Salvation. Romans 10:13 … For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

FINAL STOP: Heaven. Romans 15:13 … Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Read the following prayer. See if it expresses the desire of your heart.

Dear God, I know that Jesus is your Son and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I also know that I have sinned and am in need of forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for giving me forgiveness and eternal life through your Son. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, contact us to let us know so we can pray for you and support you in your growth as a Christian.
